Rainer Scheurenbrand's virtuoso style of guitar play is able to captivate the listener and to take one into a fascinating world of sound.
He is a guitarist, composer and musician with a heart who, through his travels through South America, combines the classic and healing sounds of nature, the people, the classic guitar and the Latin American spirit, sometimes meditatively, sometimes full fire to create an imaginative, magical sound experience.
His three albums "Viento Bueno", "Jardim" and "Diosana" are brilliant arrangements full of harmony and depth, which touch the heart with their artful elegance. His songs mainly tell of spirituality, love and the magic of nature.
The love for life and especially for the children of this earth mirrors in his newest project, which launched in January 2019: "It's a Boonie", consists of songs and melodies played by world famous musicians like Victoria Mullova (violin), Matthew Barley (cello )) or Misha Mullov-Abbado (producer, double bass) who have given their love in every note of this album. Rainer will for sure play the one or another "Boonie song" at the concert.
Rainer Scheurenbrand studied classical guitar and chamber music at the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media. He gives concerts worldwide as a soloist and in various ensembles.
We look forward to a musically inspiring evening at the unique and historical venue of the Auditorium at the Hirschengraben school building.
